Scary! Sen. Arlen Specter's endorsement Of Bruce Castor:

What Sen. Arlen Specter, is allowing to go on here in Pennsylvania and the rest of this
country is a disgrace to our country and in the sight of God! I know it is a long article, but if
you read it you will see, where I am coming from. We are in Big Trouble here in Penna. as
well as the rest of the country with this administration in power. What happen to me was just
a test, to see if our people would go for it. They did! silence truly became betrayal, to all that
we are as American Citizens. This Administration is breeding others to take their place.
Soon no citizen will have any rights.

Letter I wrote Editor, concerning below article:

Dear Editor:

Sen Arlen Specter, endorsement on June 11, 2007 of Bruce Castor and James R. Matthews
as Board of Commissioners, and Risa Vetri Ferman as Bruce Castor's replacement as DA is
a disgrace to our Judicial System, and a slap in the face of the Constitutional and Bill of right
that every citizen in this country has.

Arlen Specter is well aware of the illegal and unwarranted wiretapping and surveillances that
are going on in this county, of which my daughter are two of the targets. Specter is well
aware the Bruce Castor as well as Risa Vetri Ferman, and Mike Marino have crossed the
line into illegal behavior, obstruction of justice, perjury, and a host of other crimes against
my daughter and myself. They have shown themselves to be nothing but thugs and criminals.

Know for sure that when you see Specter chairing any investigation, concerning NSA,
wiretapping and surveillance's, etc., it is a joke and nothing but a show for the public. Specter
gave an interview on June 11, 2007 to the Philadelphia Bulletin, were he express his
admiration for Bruce Castor (scary)
He stated that Castor was "a young man whom I have
watched over the years," he said the DA has "set the model in this state for being district
attorney."
Arlen Specter has taken leave of his senses, and shown very bad judgement.
Specter knows full well that what Bruce Castor is implementing here in this county is illegal.

What is going on here in this county, makes Castor and Marino and Risa Vetri Ferman a
disgrace to our country, and constitute an egregious and unacceptable abuse of public trust
and power. The American people rightfully expect the highest ethical standards from their
elected leaders, Bruce Castor is a disgrace, and should have been disbarred years ago,
along with Marino, and  Risa Vetri Ferman, etc.!

The media is just covering up this matter, because of their involvement. I use to have
respect for Specter, but it is a fact that he has as poor of judgement as the rest of this
administration and believes in rewarding those who have no respect for the laws of this
country! He too is a disgrace to this country!

Then read the article below: This is very scary, and a disgrace to our country! Arlen Specter
is a perfect example of why we need term limits in our Senate and Congress. He is a
disgrace and promoting prosecutable misconduct, etc. He has shown by his endorsement of
Castor that he is without morals or ethics.

Specter Jumps Behind Montco Republicans

Norristown - Sen. Arlen Specter joined Montgomery County's slate of Republican row office
candidates to express hope that this Philadelphia-border county, staying Republican by
decreasing margins in recent years, remains a GOP mainstay. The county, though
overwhelmingly Republican in terms of voter registration, poses a difficulty to some local
GOP campaigners. It's an area that never turned out a majority for President Bush and did
not lend much support to Rick Santorum in his unsuccessful reelection effort last year.

But Specter remains exceedingly popular in this area and has conveyed much confidence in
his Republican brethren who control all of its county departments. "I'm very grateful to the
voters of this distinguished county for that support over the years," he said. "And the county
has been Republican and has produced really outstanding public service to manage the
affairs of the county. Strenuous efforts have been made to hold down the tax rate, to hold
down spending and to have very, very strong law enforcement." The senator attributed some
of the successful containment of crime to Bruce Castor's service as district attorney. Calling
Castor "a young man whom I have watched over the years," he said the DA has "set the
model in this state for being district attorney."

Specter said Castor's work as top prosecutor indicates he will competently oversee all of the
county's functions if elected to the Board of Commissioners. "Bruce has a tremendous
background to take on the job of commissioner," the senator said. "He is really a straight-
arrow [possessing] a lot of talent."

Risa Vetri Ferman, Castor's second in command, is now vying for election to his job and the
senator endorsed her bid, referring to her as a "terrific prosecutor and has had the
background and the experience to do the job." He continued, "I'm sure she will carry on the
tradition that DA Castor has established."

Specter also urged the reelection of James R. Matthews, the Board of Commissioners'
present vice chairman. Democrats have set their sites on capturing a majority on the board
and have nominated former congressman and erstwhile Commissioner Joseph M. Hoeffel to
run with current Commissioner Ruth S. Damsker. "Regrettably, [Matthews] wasn't taken
away from Norristown to Harrisburg in the last election," Specter said of Matthews' run for
the lieutenant governorship under gubernatorial candidate Lynn Swann. "As county
commissioner, you've done superb work." Matthews said he and other Republicans he has
served with on the Board of Commissioners would have had a more difficult job without "this
icon of Pennsylvania politics there in Washington for us." Specter, he continued, "is ahead
of the game as far as knowing our priorities and what we have wanted to achieve."

Matthews specifically cited Specter's support for extending Lafayette Street in Norristown
to the turnpike, a project expected to bring new commercial vitality to Norristown.
Specifically, the federal government has contributed funds for engineering studies
associated with the project. "That is just one area where the senator has always been out in
front for us," Matthews said. "There is no greater champion."
Matthews and Castor have contrasted their approach to the revitalization of Norristown in
recent days with that of their opponents. They have said the Democrats' plan to hire a
county grant writer to secure federal, state and private contributions to redevelopment
efforts in Norristown and other densely populated communities is an unneeded expenditure.
They also criticize Damsker and Hoeffel's plans to increase revitalization by $2.5 million
annually as to costly to taxpayers. "They say they want to be accountable for their promises,
but how do they account for all of this empty political rhetoric with no plan in place to pay for
it?

" Matthews said. Castor has described the Democrats' plan as "completely unrealistic" and
said, "Once again, either Hoeffel and Damsker are completely clueless or writing checks
they will never be able to cash." Specter concluded his remarks by urging voters to
keep Montgomery and other counties in the region Republican-run to provide balance to the
power the Democrats exert in Philadelphia government. "Right now, if counties do not
provide the balance for the Republican Party - candidly, to offset Philadelphia - that balance
will not be present," Specter said. "The state has always relied on the four suburban
counties to provide balance to Philadelphia to make it competitive. That's the tradition of
this county."

Norristown - Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor is pushing for state
legislation to restrict where a sex offender may reside after returning to society from a jail
sentence. Criminals affected by this proposed policy would necessarily meet the state's
definition of a "sexually violent predator," one whom a mental expert from the Pennsylvania
Sexual Offender Assessment Board has examined and has determined before a court of law
to usenses."

Some municipalities have ordinances requiring sex offenders to live at least a certain
distance from schools, day-care centers, parks, public libraries or other establishments
frequented by children. General Assembly members have introduced several bills to address
the matter statewide, but no such bill has yet moved out of committee.

As president of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association (PDAA), a position to which
he was elected last Tuesday,
Castor asked the organization to examine these measures and
to recommend to him which among them best serve the purpose of ensuring the safety of
children from sexual predators.

"My experience has shown me that people who suffer from pedophilia and are sexually
violent offenders are not able to control themselves," Castor said. Having observed such
behavior for over two decades as a prosecutor, the DA said restricting where a sex offender
may reside will undoubtedly reduce recidivism.

He averred that such offenders should be imprisoned for as long as the law allows but should
face strict constraints on their proximity to large groups of children if they must go free.

Montgomery County's District Attorney's Office began considering the benefits of state
legislation on released sex predators after Horsham Township officials and residents met
with Assistant DA Todd Stephens, who heads the office's Sex Crimes Unit, regarding a man
named Sheldon Granor, who was convicted of abusing an underage girl, has served prison
time and now wishes to return to his residence on Rolling Glen Drive.

Horsham's community policing outfit ChATs (Chief's Advisory Teams) has a policy of calling
such meetings to inform neighborhood residents that a sex offender seeks to return to the
area from jail. The Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole is currently reviewing this
offender's possible release.

Castor commended Horsham Township's community leaders for taking such precautions and
for bringing this matter to his office's attention.
The township is now considering an
ordinance that would stipulate where a sexually violent predator may life in relation to
entities where children tend to gather. The DA's office has posited that such measures are
important to enact on the state level.

Ouestions Sir:
Can a corrupt District Attorney, Bruce Castor who is guilty of obstruction of justice, illegal
wiretapping, illegal breaking and entering into citizens homes, and surveillances, fraud,
perjury, etc., and with no law license be President of The Pennsylvania District Attorneys
Association (PDAA)? Because I guarantee that by this time next year he will be well in to
disbarment procedures, and on his way to jail. It is a legal and moral imperative. http://www.

NBC Sting Shakes Up Texas Town

MURPHY,

Texas (June 28) - A sting in which police teamed up with "Dateline NBC" to catch online
pedophiles was supposed to send a flinty-eyed, Texas-style warning about this
Dallas suburb: Don't mess with Murphy.
Instead, it has turned into a fiasco.

Photo Gallery: Town Falls Prey to TV Show
Ron Heflin, AP NBC 'Dateline' used this home in Murphy, Texas, to lure would-be child
molestors. The city manager who helped NBC set up the sting lost his job.< Previous 1 of 4

One of the 25 men caught in the sting, a prosecutor from a neighboring county committed
suicide when police came to arrest him. The Murphy city manager who approved the
operation lost his job in the ensuing furor.

And the district attorney is refusing to prosecute any of the men, saying many of the cases
were tainted by the involvement of amateurs. "Certainly these people should be prosecuted
to the full extent of the law, but the fact that this was all done for television cameras raises
some questions," said Mayor Bret Baldwin.

It is the first time in nine "Dateline NBC: To Catch a Predator" stings across the country in
the past year and a half that prosecutors did not pursue charges.
"Dateline" has made prime-time entertainment out of contacting would-be child molesters
over the Internet, luring them to a meeting place, and videotaping their humiliating
confrontations with reporter Chris Hansen.

"Dateline" works with an activist group called Perverted Justice, which supplies adults who
troll Internet chat rooms, posing as underage boys and girls, and try to collect incriminating
sex talk.

City manager Craig Sherwood approved such an operation in this well-to-do community of
11,000 after being approached by "Dateline" and Perverted Justice, but he never informed
the mayor or the City Council. He said secrecy was necessary for the sting to be effective.

Over four days in November, 24 men were arrested at a two-story home in one of Murphy's
newer neighborhoods after allegedly arranging to meet boys or girls there. Some other
suspects contacted Perverted Justice decoys online but never showed up at the house.
Among them was Louis Conradt Jr., an assistant prosecutor from neighboring Kauffman
County, who allegedly engaged in a sexually explicit online chat with an adult posing as a 13-
year-old boy.

As police knocked at his door and a "Dateline" camera crew waited in the street, Conradt
shot himself. His sister, Patricia Conradt, told the City Council that police acted as "a judge,
jury and executioner that was encouraged by an out-of-control reality show." Then, last
month, Collin County District Attorney John Roach dropped all charges. He said that in 16
of the cases, he had no jurisdiction, since neither the suspects nor the decoys were in the
county during the online chats. As for the rest of the cases, he said neither police nor NBC
could guarantee the chat logs were authentic and complete.

"The fact that somebody besides police officers were involved is what makes this case bad,"
said Roach, who was informed of the sting in advance but did not participate. "If
professionals had been running the show, they would have done a much better job rather
than being at the beck and call of outsiders." As details of the suicide emerged, Murphy's
mayor, City Council and most of its residents learned for the first time that potential
molesters were being luring to their city. Many were furious. "They can chase predators all
they want, but they shouldn't do it in a populated area with children, two blocks from an
elementary school," said Lisa Watson, 33, who lives down the road from the sting house and
has three children and another on the way.

Bryan Whorton, who lives with his wife and baby across the street from the house, said his
neighborhood was put in danger. Cars sped up and down the street and police sprinted from
hiding spots, guns drawn, to arrest suspects, he said. One suspect dropped a bag of crack,
Whorton said. "This is a family community. It didn't look kosher at all," he said.
Two weeks ago, the City Council voted to buy out the city manager's contract for $255,000.

NBC's Hansen said Murphy is the only place the show has encountered such resistance. "I
don't want to get involved in the DA's business or the police business," he said. "I can tell
you in the other locations, these issues did not come up." Eric Nichols, a Texas deputy
attorney general, said that when law enforcement authorities pull an Internet sex sting,
officers posing as decoys follow strict rules. Detailed chat logs are kept to ensure that "sex
talk" is initiated by the potential predator. That way, a defendant cannot claim entrapment.

Eric Chase, a defense attorney specializing in sex crimes, said stings are the job of police,
not TV crews. "Police should not be abdicating a very important function to either private
organizations or entertainment organizations," he said.
